If Michigan State wins tonight over Marquette, the Big Ten almost certainly will see 3 of their 5 entrants advance to the second round. They're off to a great start, leading 30-18 at half. More interesting, of MU's 18 points, none came from 2 point baskets. Don't see that often.
If Michigan State holds on in the second half, they'll be the first lower seed to win today.
Otherwise, fear the chalk.
Daequan Cook's stroke is insanely pretty.
I have this odd feeling that if VCU can manage a little bit of interior defense, they'll wear down Duke in the second half. Paulus and Scheyer already look spent. Oddly, Pocius might be the difference maker.
